OUR STORY

Founded by Dundalk couple Marie and Paddy Agnew, Carlingford Lough Sea Tours is an accumulation of years of experience and passion for the water. With spectacular views of the Cooley and Mourne Mountains, the Lough is a beautiful corner of the of Irelands Ancient East (link)with infinite tales from the past. It was for this reason that Marie and Paddy decided to setup Carlingford Lough Sea Tours. Our natural wonders should be accessible for all of us, with the opportunity to enjoy all that our wonderful country has to offer.

OUR SERVICES

Find out the history of the wonderful surroundings. Hear about the merchant ships that sailed to and from Greenore during the centuries. Listen to the stories of the floundered ship wrecks lying beneath ‘Discovery’ as she sails out. Learn about the importance of the Greencastle airfield during WWII and of course the infamous Hawlbowline Lighthouse, how and when she was built and her importance in keeping ships safe in the Lough.
