Discovery Catamaran
‘Discovery’ is a Blyth Catamaran 10mtr x 5.5mtr with twin Sabre Perkins 215hp engines. The boat has a dual license, an Irish P3 license and an MCA UK license up to 60 miles to carry 12 passengers and up to 3 crew.
Access to the boat is via a side entrance which is wheelchair friendly A handrail is fitted on all sides of the boat for safety whilst walking around the boat Our boat has a rear ‘lift’ to allow access and egress to and from the water for swimming/scuba diving and is certified up to 3 tons.
Discovery has a custom-made bench which seats 8 people and is equipped with 10 fishing rod rests. There is extra seating under an overhead canopy which can give shelter if required. Extra fishing rod rests are located on the stern of the vessel.
The boat has ample space for groups, parties, ceremonies and casual day trippers
Toilet facilities are onboard also.

‘Discovery’ is moored at Carlingford Marina in view of the access gate to the boats.
